Sun, Sand and Fun in the Mayan Riviera December 2007

Another trip to Cancun and the Mayan Rivieria for Peggy from Carlson Wagonlit Travel. This area of Mexico is one of our best sellers, so we always want to stay up to date on the changes in the resorts and what is new! Here are a few pictures and comments of some of the resorts that I saw. If you need more information give me a call a1-800-472-6855 or drop me an e-mail at Peggy@carlsonricelake.com

The Gran Palladium Colonial and Kantenah has large river like pools.
The Grand Sirenis below is a new entry into the Mayan Rivieria and has a very unique building style. Don't stay there if you don't like angles.
They have a number of small beaches and secluded coves great for snorkeling.
Sandos Playacar

The Barcelo Palace in one of my favorites in the Mayan Riviera. The beach is a beautiful 1/2 mile crescent shape. This property is one hotel out of 4 in the Barcelo complex. The pros are you have lots of restaurants to chose from as you can eat at all the hotels, but on the downside it is a large property and lots of walking. But with all that food, the walking was great!

This is the junior suite at the Barcelo Palace. Large and spacious! The Gran Bahia Principe was next..again a large lovely junior suite.
While the Gran Gahia Principe is further south, closer to Puerto Adventuras, the beach is very nice.

Hope to see you here soon!
